About us
​
Our church was established sometime before 1961 in a storefront on Sacramento Street in Vallejo. In 1960-61 we purchased land and build our sanctuary at 1537 Vervais Ave.
​
Our Pastor, Jim Sweet, is filling the pulpit as interim pastor. He has been a member of the church for over 40 years, and has taught adult bible school for the last 15 years.
​
We are a “Once saved, Always saved” church, but we believe we are to continually grow under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit, what the bible calls “sanctification”. Our services and Sunday School classes are designed to help our people grow and become stronger Christians.
​
We have a diverse congregation and welcome people of all races, genders, and sexualities.
